Personal data that we process

Our website and / or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have permission from parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data.

Timyo Cycle processes your personal data for the following purposes:

• Handling your payment.
• Sending our newsletter.
• To be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary to be able to perform our services.
• Inform you about changes to our services and products.
• Offer you the opportunity to create an account.
• To deliver goods and services to you.

Timyo Cycle also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data that we need for our tax return.

Automated decision making

Timyo Cycle does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions that are made by computer programs or systems, without a human being (such as a TimyoCycle employee) among them.

How long we keep personal data

Timyo Cycle does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data are collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

Personal data of customers are legally required to be stored for 7 years and then deleted.

All other personal data will be deleted within 2 years at the latest.

The above periods apply unless there is a legal obligation for us to keep the data longer and / or keep it available.

Sharing of personal data with third parties

Timyo Cycle does not sell your data to third parties and only provides this if this is necessary for the implementation of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Timyo Cycle remains responsible for these processes.

View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. How we protect personal data

Timyo Cycle takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes. Timyo Cycle has taken the following measures to protect your personal data:

• DKIM, SPF and DMARC are three internet standards that we use to prevent you from receiving emails on our behalf that contain viruses, are spam or are intended to obtain personal (login) data.
• DNSSEC is an additional security (supplementary to DNS) for converting a domain name (timyocycle.com) to the associated IP address; it is provided with a digital signature. You can have that signature checked automatically. In this way we prevent you from being redirected to a false IP address.
